Introduction
Batchio processes all files locally on your Mac. No file contents are uploaded to any server. This privacy policy explains how Batchio handles your data across the macOS application and this website.
Data Collection
Batchio does not collect personal data. No analytics, no tracking, no user accounts. The app operates entirely offline and does not transmit any information about you or your files.
File Access
Batchio accesses files only through macOS security scoped bookmarks. Access requires explicit user permission via the file picker or drag and drop. Batchio reads filenames and file metadata (EXIF data, audio tags, dates) solely to generate rename previews and execute rename operations. No file contents are read beyond metadata headers.
Local Storage
Batchio stores preferences and rename history in local UserDefaults. Presets are stored in the app group container shared with the Finder Quick Action extension. This data never leaves your device. Batchio does not use iCloud sync, analytics services, crash reporting tools, or any form of telemetry.
Third Party Services
Batchioconnects to Apple's StoreKit for in app purchase validation. No other network requests are made. The app does not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.
Children's Privacy
Batchio does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not collect any personal information from any user regardless of age.
Changes to This Policy
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of Batchio after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
